Day 212 - Currituck Beach Light Station

After spending the morning on the beach with the family, the wife & I headed over to the Currituck Beach Light Station.  The Light Station started building in 1873 and completed in 1875.  There are 214 steps to the top of the light station and the structure is 162 feet high.  After climbing the light station we walked along the marsh wildlife area.

Day 211 - Kitty Hawk

Today was a day on the beach.  Then for dinner we headed down to Kitty Hawk.  After dinner it was off to where the Wright Brothers made history with their 1st flight.

Day 210 - Whalehead

Today we spent time at the beach with the grandchildren.  For that event, I took my AW100 for photos on the beach and in the water.  Then this afternoon we headed over to Whalehead, which is a step back into an era of gracious mansions.  So for my images @ 22mm here is Whalehead and some of it's property.
