Day 151 - Wild Mouse Coaster

After we got the grandchildren, we headed over to Dorney Park.  Today turned out to be a special day for my grandson, for last year, he was 1/2" to short to ride the Wild Mouse Coaster.  What a disappointed little boy he was.  However, this year he just hit the 48" limit.  Thanks to Mom & Dad for his new tennis shoes, as they helped it meeting the minimum hight.

The Wild Mouse

Let me tell you those right hand turns where a killer on the thigh.

A look of certainty as we stood in line
Yea, I made it through the check point.
 Here we go
Last picture as those turns were killers

The Log ride
 Ok Pop-pop I drive
Ok we are ready to go

As we were leaving the park, we saw this

Day 150 - 3.6 mile walk @ WY-HIT-TUK Park

Today I headed down to WY-HIT-TUK Park for a 3.6 mile walk along the Delaware River.  I have no clue how this park got it's name, so if you know, please feel free to share that information.

Today's images are from today's walk:

All images are taken with the EOS-M w/ EF-M 22mm f/2 STM @ f/3.5

These next 3 images are taken using a Infra Red Filter
on the 22mm lens.  They are of a broken Lock along
the canal.

This next image of a tree and it's reflection in the canal
was created from 7 images stitched together veridically.

Now this next image gives a different meaning of
monitoring the water level of the canal

The next several images I used a Cokin +3 Close up filter
on the 22mm Lens

A wild Dasiy

A Butterfly
 A Goose Feather

Day 149 - Joe's

Today I had to head over to the Southside of Bethlehem to pick up some tickets at out church.  On the way home I saw Joe's Barbershop.  Now I have passed this Barbershop at least once a week on our way to & from church, so today I thought I would stop and take a few images.  As I was taking pictures, Joe came outside to talk with me.  A very nice gentleman who bought this business in 1962 from  previous owner.  So as far as he knows, this building has been an active Barbershop since the early 1950's.  A local establishment that seems to be the hub of information on the Southside, for as I was there, the newly elected mayor of Bethlehem came in, swept the floors for Joe and then sat down and talked to the clients there about the previous elections.

So this is Joe's

Day 148 - A Juggling Act

Well today is another one of those cool very rainy days, keeping you indoors and thinking creatively.  So as I was juggling some thoughts through my head, I came up with this idea of an image.  Although it is only 1 image here, it was really created from 4 images then brought together using Layers in Elements 11. The final processing was done in LR & Silver Efex Pro 2

All images are taken with the EOS-M w/ EF-M 22mm f/2 STM @ f/3.5

Hope you like it as much as I had fun making it ;-)
