Day 120 - The Crayola Factory

When walking along the Bushkill Creek on Sunday with the wife, I noticed that there a a slight water fall near the Crayola Factory in Palmer Township.  So today I headed down to that area for today's images.

Day 119 - Hanuman

Today was one of those cold rainy days, so I stayed indoors.  So as I was thinking what would make a good image, I noticed Hanuman.  Who is Hanuman you may ask? He is the white monkey and a commander and principle warrior of Prince Rama in the Ramakian story.

Day 116 - A Misty Kinda Day

Very busy day today.  After doing my ritual Friday House Cleaning, had to cut the grass, take the wife in for a post-op check up, pick-up the grand children, then took the grandson to a volleyball game.  So by the time I got him into bed it was time to sit down with a nice glass on Mist.  Irish Mist that is:

Day 115 - The Rock Church in Easton, Pa.

It was such a nice afternoon, that I headed back down to Easton for some more images.  I stopped at the Rock Church as this is a landmark that can be seen from I78.  The history of the Rock Church is that it was once Zion German Lutheran Church on North Fifth Street beckons like a beacon. It was founded in 1852. Rumor has it that when the Lutheran congregation renovated the church, the finest German craftsman was retained to build the new steeple. Specifications were then sent to Germany. However, this artisan mistook the American dimensions, given in feet, for European measurements, calculated in meters. The resulting steeple is one of downtown Easton’s most protruding landmarks.

Since the Church was built in 1852, I felt that the
Daguerrotype Method would suit this image:

Then I walk around the block and my Eye caught
some more art work on the side of some of the buildings

Enjoy

Day 114 - Art Work in Easton

Today is one of those days that if you had a convertible, you would be driving with the top down.  So I got in the Q and headed down to Easton w/the Sun roof open (Best I could do).  As I walk around I saw some of this interesting art work on the sides of some of the buildings:

Of course some of the buildings look like art work
Like the Bank Annex with morning dew on it's side

Or some of the Fire Escapes on the side

And of course the places to have a cup of Java as Art

Have a nice Day
