Day 365 - Where it all Began

If you are a follower of this blog, you are aware that starting early in October, I started to study for my Marriage and Family Therapy License.  This lasted from all of October and most of November, ending on November 22 when I took the exam.  So here we are at the close of 2013 and when I got home from work, there it was.  My License:

So I was so pleased that I was able to include this as one of the last pictures for this blog.  But I wouldn't want to end the blog here with just this image.  No I thought that for the last picture for 2013 should be where it all started.

Yes 365 days ago we traveled down to this location for the very 1st picture of this blog.  However a year brought some changes to the theater.  Do you know what changed?

Thanks to all who have followed this blog.  I do hope you have enjoyed this images as much as I had taking and processing them.  May you all have a Great and Blessed 2014 and check out my new blog "My Black & White World in 52 Weeks"

Thanks
Tom

Day 351 - More Snow

Today we got another 3.5" (8.89 cm).  That makes a total of 14.5" (36.83 cm) since the 1st of December and it is not even officially winter yet.  So after clearing the driveway of snow and cleaning the car, the wife and I went to visit a shut-in to give her communion, then headed down to Bethlehem for a winter shot:

Day 349 - Sunday Afternoon in the Christmas City

Well the snow started yesterday @ 10:30 AM and it snowed all day.  At 22:30, after about 6" (15.54 cm) of snow,  it switched to ice.  This left about about .8" (2.032 cm) of ice on top of the snow.  I was so glad to have prepped the snowblower for this storm.  After clearing my driveway and a couple of my neighbor's driveways, the wife and I went out to do some birthday shopping for our granddaughter and pick-up a new N gauge engine for my train display down in Bethlehem.

Day 348 - Snowy Day @ the Steel Stacks

They are calling for another 7" of snow here today.  The predicted that the snow would start somewhere between 06:00 and 12:00 and sure enough it was snowing at 10:30.  So after taking the grandchildren to their swimming lessons and then delivering them to their parents, the wife and I headed over to the Steel Stacks before going home and staying put for the rest of the day.

Day 344 - A Snowy Tuesday

Woke-up this morning and snow was falling.  By the time the storm was done, it dropped about 3 1/2" on heavy wet snow.  So after clearing the driveway, I grabbed the camera to get a few images of our 1st significant snowfall for the season.

Day 327 - Blistery Evening

After dinner, we headed down to the Bethlehem Steel Stacks to take a photo for out Christmas Card.  As we arrived, the wind started to pick up, but not to be stopped by a little wind I put up a flash stand for a off camera flash, put the camera on a tripod took a quick test shot.  Then the wind kicked up and blew the flash over.  With luck, nothing broke, so we tried again but the flash stand would not stay up in the wind.  By that time we called it quits as it was becoming very miserable and I don't think our faces would of beam any yuletide cheer.  So we packed up and headed over to the Christkindlmarkt.
